Fort Hays State University women's basketball senior guard Sheena Kuntzsch was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team. Kuntzsch earned first-team honors for the District 7 College Division.

Kuntzsch is majoring in Art (Interior Design) at Fort Hays State and holds a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.0. Kuntzsch was one of five athletes named to the first team, which also included Amy Mathis (Nebraska-Kearney), Michelle Stueve (Emporia State), Katie McElrath (Missouri Science & Technology) and Lindsey Maple (Central Missouri).

Kuntzsch will now be considered for CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American honors as only first-team members of each district are placed on the national ballot.
