After the Tigers had a very poor shooting performance earlier in the week in a 60-48 loss to Truman State, Saturday’s performance was even worse with the Tigers shooting only 24 percent from the floor. The Tigers picked up a huge win edging the #8 nationally ranked Bulldogs by a score of 54-51. Fort Hays State men's basketball coach Mark Johnson announced the signing of four players for the 2007-08 season. All four players will be transferring to Fort Hays State. The players include Jake Sims from Gardner-Webb University, Shawn Emerick from John Wood Community College, Latravis Turner from Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College, and Terry Jeffries from Northwest Mississippi Community College. Sims will be a senior next year, while Emerick, Turner and Jeffries will be juniors. Read more...
