The Tigers, the #7 seed in the tournament, lost their opening round match to #2 seed Northwest Missouri State, 5-0. The Lady Tigers were the #7 seed in the tournament and lost both of their duals on Saturday to finish with a record of 9-12 overall. The Lopers would win all three doubles matches and three of six singles matches to win by a 6-3 score. With the loss, FHSU drops to 9-8 overall on the season, yet remains 1-4 in the MIAA.

The Fort Hays State tennis team finished the fall season ranked ninth in the ITA North Central Region. The Tigers finished the fall season at 5-1. The MIAA claims seven of the top ten rankings in the poll including the top three spots in Emporia State, Southwest Baptist and Washburn. Other MIAA schools ranked include Truman State fifth, Northwest Missouri State sixth and Missouri Southern seventh.
