On Wednesday, January 7, 2009, Kurt Kohler was named the new head volleyball coach at Fort Hays State University. Kohler comes to Fort Hays State from Barton County Community College, where he coached volleyball during the 2005-06 season, but then took over as Barton County’s athletic director for the past two and a half years.
