The Fort Hays State men's track and field team qualified four Tigers in five events for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Jordan Carlisle, Tim McElroy, Brett Ottley and Mark Riordan all made the field for the championships, which are held May 24-26 in Pueblo, Colo.

Riordan, a sophomore from Solomon, Kan., made the champions in two events, the long jump and triple jump. He is No. 13 in the triple jump with his best mark of 49-7.25 from the Fort Hays State Open on April 28. In the long jump, Riordan is No. 19 with his mark of 24-1.5 at the MIAA Championships.
